Our next planned away trip will be in late November, as Spartans visit former Football League side and current title favorites Macclesfield – in what will likely be our biggest awayday of the season (depending on how important Whitby ends up being!)
With a near 200 mile and 4 hour journey on the cards, we’ll be leaving from The Wallaw at 9am, with pick ups at High Pit (9.10am) and Seaton Delaval (9.15am). Hopefully we’ll have a full bus for this one!
Due to the travel required for this one, we’ll also be having a scheduled stop somewhere. Likely Hartshead Moor once again.
As the ground is on the outskirts of the town, we’re a bit fucked when it comes to pubs. The closest one we could see was about a 10 minute walk away. Thankfully though the main bar at the ground admits away fans apparently – so for now we’ll likely just head straight there.
As ever it’s straight home after the game. Expecting to get back between 9pm and 9:30pm, depending on stops and traffic.
