10/10/24 Statement – Open Meeting

Evening all,

Before we get into the below update, we would all like to say a huge thank you for the support we’ve received in the last week or so, which has not only come from our own supporters, but fans of other teams across the country, as well players and staff from other clubs across the local non-league scene.

Last week’s crowd of 385 made the Stockton Town game one of the lowest attended home games within the last 10 years. However with roughly 100 away fans making the trip north and complimentary tickets factored into the equation, last weekend probably only saw 250 paid home fans at Croft Park.

For those of you who did choose to boycott, hopefully you enjoyed your Saturday afternoon wherever it was spent! For those who did still choose to attend Croft Park however, we completely understand your decision and respect you for doing so. Stockdale and the team certainly deserve and need support at present.

Following on from last week’s boycott though, we can confirm that as of today, ourselves nor any shareholders have been contacted regarding the arrangement of the club’s AGM and Open Forum.

In terms of communication, we have received absolutely nothing from the football club or any club official.

As a result of the club’s failure to even acknowledge supporters genuine concerns and questions, we will be looking to hold an Open Meeting on Monday (14th) at a time and venue TBC.

During said Open Meeting, we’ll be looking to take on feedback from both members and non members, in regard to further boycotts and potential protests, amongst other things.

A further update with an exact location for said Open Meeting will be confirmed ASAP once we have a rough idea of how many people will be attending.

Cheers,

Dan Rolls
