Mickleover Bus | 21 September 2024

September see’s us embark up one of longest away trips of the season (by this leagues standards). Thankfully though we visit one of our favourite old grounds in the Dom Amott Arena – the sight of a famous victory, and the ground with a brilliant beer garden!

With near 200 mile and 4 hour journey on the cards, we’ll be leaving from The Wallaw at 9am, with pick ups at High Pit (9.10am) and Seaton Delaval (9.15am).

Due to the travel required for this one, we’ll also be having a scheduled stop somewhere. Possibly Leeds services, so everyone can scran on and Gary can load up on Dragon Soup.

Well likely land the at 1:30pm, so it’ll be a case of going straight to the ground. There is a pub just up the road called The Great Northern which is literally a 2 minute walk away, so we may organise a drop off for there if anyone is interested.

As ever it’s straight home after the game. Expecting to get back between 9pm and 9:30pm, depending on stops and traffic.

Non members – £43

We appreciate the price here is a bit more expensive than people are used to, however the hire for this is roughly £1,500, which is actually considered cheap for the coach industry these days – with some comparison sites suggesting we should be paying £1,800 and more.

For payment, please send monies to the below account. Travel season ticket holders, your names already on the bus for this one.
